“Working at Shakespeare in Action as an intern was a fantastic experience. To be afforded an insight into the daily workings of an educational theatre company was extremely valuable, and I was intrigued to see so many different, original approaches to making Shakespeare accessible and enjoyable. I took on a variety of projects, ranging from working with students in the National Shakespeare Youth Festival to preparing grant applications. The company was always open to any ideas I had to contribute, and as such I undertook a particularly rewarding project that enabled me to develop my film editing skills. On top of all this, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, while still exuding enthusiasm.”
