Donate Now Through CanadaHelps.org!

Shakespeare in Action is a not-for-profit charity, registered with the Canada Revenue Agency.  We rely on the support of individual donors to continue our good work with young people in communities across the country.

The problems our youth will encounter in the 21st century will be more complex than ever. The ability to think critically, develop historical perspective and access the language needed to articulate the solutions to these problems will be vital to their future. The power and beauty of Shakespeare’s language produces meaningful, complex thought that challenges the mind and awakens the human spirit. Our mission is to invest in new generations of Canadians.

There has never been a more vital time to join us in our work.

Your donation will directly contribute towards our task of using Shakespeare to improve the quality of life of young people at risk. This includes:

  • Participation in Shakespeare Fight Club, a violence prevention program in Toronto’s Jane-Finch neighbourhood
  • Participation in our Scholarship Camp at Barbara Frum Library, serving under-privileged youth from Toronto’s Lawrence Height’s neighbourhood
  • Subsidizing tickets to our main-stage productions for young people at risk.

Shakespeare in Action can offer tax-deductable receipts for any donation over $5.
